Programs to help

If you are homeless or may become homeless in the near future then you may qualify for one of our programs.

Continuum Care - The Continuum of Care (COC) is the term used for the process of coordinating services and planning among all the homeless service providers in the area.

Home - The HOME program is permanent housing for people with a disability. UHCSC provides housing and case management.

Homeless Person - If you are homeless or may become homeless in the near future then you may qualify for one of our programs.

Housing Counseling - Provides counseling in many aspects of home ownership.

Shelter Plus Care- Permanent housing for people with a disability. Case management is provided by a partnering agency.

R.A.V.E.- Provides permanent rental housing to chronically homeless people .

Ten Year Plan - The Federal mandate is for the nation's communities to work and implement a ten year plan to eliminate homelessness. To this end the SC Homeless Coalition has written a state plan that has been distributed to the various communities to adapt to their own needs.

Transitions 2000
- A transitional housing program, in six upstate counties. The program provides housing, intensive case management, and other supportive services to help participants work towards self-sufficiency.
