Fund Development is most important for us to meet the requirements of our grant funding and to be able to expand past our current capacity.

• Volunteer to work on our annual Bridesmaid’s Ball.
• Help with a membership campaign and/or become a member.
• Set up small groups for educational purposes to tell people about the problem of homelessness in your area and what the Upstate Homeless Coalition does, and how they can help.
• Have "bridal showers" to collect items for people in our programs. For instance, have a towel shower. This gives you an opportunity to have friends or co-workers together for a social event and everyone would also helping someone in need. There would be no huge financial commitment because the donation of just washcloth would be greatly appreciated by our tenants.
• Help create newsletters.
• Do light clerical work when mailings are due to be sent.
